About Cogito

Since its inception in 1989, Cogito has specialised in the development of software products which enhance the CA-IDMS environment, by providing additional functionality and performance enhancements.

In 1999 Cogito expanded into the IBM DB2 arena and now offer a unique set of SQL Performance analysis and Tuning tools.

Cogito was formed by a group of ex-Cullinet(UK) personnel and its staff includes no less than three former Cullinet Principal Consultants. Cogito has an unrivalled level of expertise and knowledge of CA-IDMS - the directors alone have over 60 years of IDMS knowledge between them and one of the founder members, Peter Charles, was recently inducted into the IUA Hall of Fame.

Cogito staff now include Industry Leading DB2 experts and Gold Consultants to complement and enhance its existing product lines and knowledge base.

Cogito prides itself on being able to react to customer requests and issues quickly and efficiently - after all, it is the customers that drive its business.
